Kournikova versus Hurley! After
Anna Kournikova reportedly said that Elizabeth Hurly had a very
"ugly face" (when seated near her at a charity ball),
several Hurley fans vowed to get their revenge. London Police
now tell the young tennis player to be careful, especially since
they have seen what could come of these threats. What did Hurley
have to say in response to all of this? "Anna is a very pretty
young lady," she replied.

Planet of the Apes Remake! Tim
Burton will be directing a remake of The Planet of the Apes, which
is being called The Visitor. The film is to begin shooting in
fall for a projected July 4, 2001 release. Mark Wahlberg has already
showed an interest in the main role, played by Charlton Heston
in the original.

Drew Barrymore Engaged to MTV's Tom Green!
The 25-year-old actress has officially become engaged to Green
in the last 10 days, Barrymore's publicist Eddie Michaels said
Wednesday. Michaels couldn't confirm exactly when Green proposed
to Barrymore, but said no wedding date had been set. This will
be the first marriage for Green and the second for Barrymore,
who was married for 11 months to a bar owner in 1994.

Quaid and Ryan Call It Quits! After
so many years of marriage, Dennis Quaid files for divorce from
Meg Ryan. Ryan has been linked to upcoming movie co-star Russell
Crowe, but the couples' agents deny that the divorce had anything
to do with a third party.

Harry Potter Update! Rumors that
the upcoming Harry Potter film is to include American actors have
been proven false. Rowling, the author of the popular novels,
has specifically requested British actors and the movie is supposed
to be very closely based on the novels.

Auditions for Harry Potter! Representatives
of the film have released a statement as follows: "We are
looking for British children, between the ages of 9 and 11 who
look like Harry Potter, Ron Weasley or Hermione Granger. You can
become a Junior Talent Scout by urging them to send a recent picture
and videotape to us! On the tape we would like potential Harrys,
Rons and Hermoines to say their name and age, tell a joke and
read a paragraph of their choice from any of the Harry Potter
